The Nevis Landscape Partnership (NLP) are looking to take on 4 x Trainee Volunteer Rangers for a 12-week training programme, starting 18th June 2018. This opportunity will allow motivated individuals seeking experience of the hands-on practice of conservation work and mountain tourism dynamics in a specific context. Key skills will be gained to build towards a career in this field.
The programme will consist of specific core training such as first aid and mountain awareness as well as habitat and monitoring training and relevant environmental based workshops. Work experience will be gained in supporting NLP with their various projects along with the opportunity to network with and potentially support our partners such as Forestry Commission Scotland, John Muir Trust and Highlife Highland Rangers.
