The Nevis Landscape Partnership and John Muir Trust are recruiting for 4 Seasonal Rangers, one Lead Ranger and three Rangers, for the Nevis Area. These varied and interesting roles will suit self-motivated individuals with a proven interest in visitor management, the environment and good practical conservation management skills, for example, woodland management, biological and habitat survey/recording, basic footpath maintenance and control of invasive species. You will have knowledge and experience of mountain environments and the habitats and species typical of the area and you will be keen to share this knowledge with school groups, visitors and volunteer groups.

REPORTS TO: Programme Manager & JMT Property Manager
SALARIES: Lead Ranger £21,800, Ranger £19,500 pro rata
LOCATION: Fort William
STATUS: Full Time (35 hrs/wk) 5 days from 7 on rota.
TERM: Fixed term until 31st October 2021
ANNUAL LEAVE: 32 days per year to include ALL public holidays, pro rata.
PENSION: 5% Employers Contribution
